Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with a focus on structural engineering to join our dynamic team. As a CAD Engineer, you will create and modify detailed structural drawings and models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help ensure that our structural designs are accurate, efficient, and meet all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Design and Drafting: Create, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for structural engineering projects, including steel, concrete, and composite structures. Ensure that designs adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on structural design issues, offering solutions to improve design efficiency and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with structural engineers, draughtsman and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and translate them into detailed CAD drawings.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to structural design changes, project specifications, and technical drawings. Ensure accurate record-keeping and version control of all design documents.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and inspections to ensure that all structural CAD drawings and models meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design inconsistencies or issues that arise during the design or construction process.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of design standards, processes, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and quality of structural CAD work.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD design with a focus on structural engineering projects. Experience with structural design standards and practices is preferred.
• Skills: Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, including load analysis, material properties, and design codes. Excellent attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to project success through effective coordination and support.
