Kafka Data Engineer

Hello Members,

We are looking for Kafka Data Engineer with overall 8+ years of IT experience for a period of 4 months on a contract basis.

Skills

• Can write Java/Scala Consumer API , Kafka Streams and Spark Streaming code to Publish and Consume messages to Kafka
• Must have worked with Kafka Connectors.
• Strong Java/Scala programming experience

Qualifications

Non-negotiable/Required

• Development experience on Kafka.  Confluent experience is a big plus!

• Spark hands-on development experience is a plus

• Object-oriented programming skills in Scala.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience

• 8+ years of IT experience

• 3+ years hands-on development in Kafka

• Experience in Data Warehouse and BI Analytics.

Nice-to-have/Advantage

• Knowledge of ingestion from Kafka topics

• Experience working in Agile Environment.

• Experience working with REST API.

• Hands-on experience with Java and Scala

     Certified in Confluent Platform
